Jenkins, Steve and Page, Robin. What Do You Do With a Tail Like This? Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 2003. $15.00 ISBN 0-618-25628-8.

Jenkins is the author of many informational animal books, as well as the illustrator of Animal Dads and Bugs Are Insects. In this nonfiction book, husband and wife team Steve Jenkins and Robin Page have created an informational guessing book for both children and adults. Children explore the diverse ways various animals use their noses, ears, tails, eyes, feet, and mouths. At the back of the book, the authors have included detailed descriptions of all animals presented and the fascinating ways they use their special features. The illustrations are cut-paper collage and blend texture and color for an interesting and beautiful effect.
