A story in which nonsense goes over to plain silly. A wolf is told to brush his teeth, a sheep gets a haircut, and a pig takes a bath. There is no connection between these events. The illustrations by a beginning Italian artist are delightful, but the text is beyond hope. However, in a picturebook words and images must work together.
