The remarkable collage art in this picturebook is more interesting than the story. After many happy moments with her granddaughter, grandma dies, and the affectionate child feels herself and her spirit, reborn in the spring, along with gramma's beautiful purple flowers.

A reassuring book for a child experiencing this kind of loss.
